5-Week-Old Puppy Development: A Time of Discovery
At five weeks old, Bo's puppies are in a magical stage of development — full of curiosity and just beginning to explore the world around them. Their senses are now fully functional, and they’re starting to interact more confidently with their littermates, toys, and humans.
This is a time when play becomes an important part of learning. The pup's will begin testing boundaries, learning basic social skills, and developing early signs of temperament — though these are still very much in their early stages. They’re also starting to become more coordinated on their feet, though plenty of tumbles still happen
Bo, remains a calm and steady presence, keeping a close eye on her pups as they grow bolder each day. She’s doing a fantastic job supporting them as they adjust to the wider world.
Despite their playful bursts of energy, the puppies tire quickly and need lots of rest to support their rapid growth. Their personalities are only just beginning to emerge, so there’s still plenty of change to come in the weeks ahead.
It’s a wonderful time to observe their early development, but there’s still a long way to go before they’re ready to head off to their forever homes.
