Over the past 14+ years nothing has made me happier than seeing my puppies go to loving homes. I started out with Labrador puppies and now raise Cockapoos and Cocker Spaniels.

I'm very proud to receive a 5 star license by Mid Sussex District Council and to have won Top Puppy Parent in the 2024 Annual Breeder Awards by Canine Family Planner.

Sam was an absolute inspiration when we became privileged owners of our Cockapoo around 4.5 years ago. She vets potential owners - quite right too as she really wants the dogs to have great homes. There is then a lot of really useful information that she provides. Slightly daunting in volume but every page was worth reading and understanding. I can’t fault Sam in any way. Will definitely recommend and (when the time is right) hope to become custodians of another one of her beautiful dogs.

I am happy to leave a review for Sam Chamberlain at Rackenford Cocker Spaniel and Cockapoos. We have a healthy, confident and beautiful 8 month old cockapoo. Sam was excellent in keeping you informed, on a weekly basis, of the progress of the litter from birth until you collected them at 8 weeks old. Paddy has always reacted positively to physical touch which shows how well he was handled and cared for. He’s super bright and responds very well to training. True to the cockapoo’s reputation he is friendly and confident with other dogs and people.

We collected our Cockapoo Bonnie from Rackenford Puppies in May 2022, and already she is three years old! Bonnie is a real 'sweetheart' with a generous nature and a 'go anywhere' attitude. She comes on holiday with us in Britain at least four times every year, and we keep Sam updated with photos from every location.

Maisie was an adorable puppy and has grown into a delightful young dog. She settled quickly into our household and had clearly been well socialised. She has been healthy, is very affectionate and easy to train. Rackenford Cockapoo were excellent thoughout. Great communication and we were able to visit, see all the puppies and Mum. Sam has been very helpful, answering all our fist time puppy owner questions before and after collection of Maisie. Highly recommended.

Would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a quality purebred cocker spaniel to go to Sam at Rackenford Puppies. The whole process from start to finish was so easy. Sam was great at keeping me informed from day one exactly how puppies were doing all the way through to when I picked my little one up, providing advice and support where she could. Even once I’d picked him up we were provided with lots of information which I swore by for the first few months of this new journey! I have nothing but compliments when we go on our walks now as to how beautiful Copper is and how perfect his posture is (which is ideal for show cockers!) think this is a real testament to how well bred Sam’s puppies are. Thank you for giving me my perfect dog Sam, I couldn’t imagine my life without him!

Although this is my third cocker spaniel pup, this was my first encounter with Rackenford….and what a delight it was! From the initial enquiry, the completion of the extensive but very appropriate new owner form to the actual visit to view the pup all was exemplary. The conditions the pups were kept in was very clean and well maintained, the pups themselves were typically puppy, very friendly and excited as well as being in good health. Needless to say we left with a gorgeous, well adjusted pup who has been a delight ever since. Many, many people, some complete strangers, have commented on what fabulous colouring and condition his coat is. And to top it all he is a very friendly, healthy dog! Thank you Sam!

We had the best experience going through Rackenfords to get our gorgeous boy Frank. He is our first family dog and I was anxious to make sure we got a good breeder - we honestly couldn't be happier that we chose Rackenfords. We found Sam and Rackenford Cockapoos after extensive research (first time buying a puppy) and some failed visits to other places selling Dogs. Communication was swift and the subsequent keeping in touch through the Facebook page has been a lovely way to keep up to date with all of Pluto's siblings on Birthdays. We instantly knew, Pluto was the Dog for us after out visit to Sam's. The environment for the puppies was well kept, safe and stimulating for the puppies. Sam had all the necessary documentation, health records, microchipping and the puppy pack with all the information you need for buying a new puppy. You could tell they were all well cared for and Lottie was also well looked after and being able to view them all together was vital. I would not hesitate in recommending Rackenford Cocker Spaniel and Cockapoo.

Forever thankful to Sam for bringing our cockapoo ‘Moxie’ into our lives. Sam was incredibly kind and informative from the start - making sure we felt completely supported as first time dog owners.
