Week Four — Bo & Freddie's Puppies

Four weeks old and these little ones are growing up fast and every single day brings something new to smile about. Here is what has been happening this week…

• Weaning has begun. The puppies are now on three meals a day alongside Bo's milk, it is messy, it is chaotic, and it is absolutely brilliant

• Those gorgeous little voices are finding their bark, we are hearing the most adorable tiny woofs this week for the very first time

• Play is really developing now , the puppies are interacting with each other properly, tumbling about and keeping me thoroughly entertained

• Nails trimmed again this week, a weekly essential to keep everyone comfortable and protect Bo during feeding

• The puppies have been wormed again today, keeping on top of their health care from the very start

• All six puppies have gained weight this week, they are growing beautifully and every one of them is thriving

• We have had another heatwave this week which has kept me very much on my toes, between weeks three and four puppies are only just beginning to develop the ability to regulate their own temperature, so I have been extra vigilant monitoring them around the clock to make sure everyone stayed cool, comfortable and safe

• Bo is doing a wonderful job navigating the transition to weaning, she is getting a little well deserved rest as the puppies begin to rely on her less for every single feed

Four weeks in and this litter is absolutely flourishing, we couldn't be prouder of every single one of them!
