Week Three — Bo & Freddie's Puppies
Three weeks old and this week has brought some of the most exciting milestones yet.
The puppy room feels like a very different place to the one we started in three weeks ago and in the best possible way. Here is what has been happening this week…
• All eyes are now fully open. Every single one of Bo's puppies has opened their eyes this week, one of the most magical moments in the whole eight week journey and one I never get tired of seeing
• They are showing the first signs of hearing, those little ears are beginning to tune in to the world around them and the reactions are just gorgeous to watch
• Movement is really coming on, the puppies are starting to find their feet and move around with much more purpose and confidence every day
• The puppies are starting to interact with each other for the very first time, those earliest signs of play are beginning to appear and it is just wonderful to watch
• Nails trimmed again this week, we do this every week to keep the puppies comfortable and to protect Bo during feeding
• Bo continues to be an absolutely wonderful mother — calm, patient, and completely devoted to all six of her puppies
