They're Here - Welcome to the World, Bo & Freddie's Puppies
I am delighted to announce that Bo and Freddie's puppies were born in the early hours of Sunday 14th July. The first puppy arrived at 3.26am, with the last arriving at 6.13am, and we are so pleased to welcome four boys and two girls into the world, all a stunning deep red and all absolutely perfect. Bo and her puppies are doing wonderfully and settling in beautifully.
Freddie, ever the proud father, has no idea what has just happened but we will let him know he did a wonderful job.
Bo, you are a star… Bringing six puppies into the world is no small feat, and Bo has been an absolute star from start to finish. She is calm, attentive, and nursing her puppies with the kind of quiet confidence that makes your heart sing. Bo, we are so proud of you.
What's happening in the whelping box right now… Every single one of these beautiful red puppies is completely blind and deaf right now. Their eyelids and ear canals are sealed to protect their delicate developing senses. For now, their entire world is warmth, touch, and the scent of Bo and that is all they need.
That gorgeous red coat comes straight from Freddie… That stunning deep red colour is one of the most sought after Cockapoo shades, and this litter has it in abundance. Red Cockapoos often retain their rich colouring throughout their lives, though the shade can soften slightly as they mature. This litter is already turning heads and they are only days old.
Bo's milk is doing something extraordinary… In these very first days, Bo is producing colostrum — a special early milk packed with antibodies and immune boosting goodness that no formula can replicate. Every feed is giving these six puppies a head start in life, building the immune foundation they will rely on in the weeks and months ahead.
Healthy weights from the very start… All six puppies arrived at a healthy weight, ranging from 170g to 210g, and are feeding well from the very start.
Pure instinct from day one… Within minutes of being born, each of these puppies found their way to Bo and began feeding. No one taught them, it is pure instinct, and it is one of the most remarkable things to witness. These tiny puppies, eyes sealed and ears closed, navigating entirely by warmth and smell. Nature at its most brilliant.
I will be watching every one of them closely… From day one, each puppy is weighed daily to make sure they are gaining weight and feeding well. A healthy newborn Cockapoo should gain steadily every single day, and the scales are one of my most important tools right now. Each of these six little ones will be monitored closely to make sure they are all thriving equally.
The journey is just beginning… From sealed eyes and helpless newborns to bouncy, playful, characterful Cockapoos, the transformation that takes place over the next eight weeks is nothing short of remarkable. We will be sharing every step of the journey right here, week by week, as Bo and Freddie's puppies grow into the dogs they are going to become.
A note on availability… Due to a lack of response and updated communication from previous enquiries, we currently have 2 boys and 2 girls available. The puppies will be ready to join their new homes on Sunday 9th August. Please only enquire if you are fully committed to welcoming a new puppy into your family around this time.
